New music video from Mandolin Orange - "Morphine Girl"


Local folk rising stars Mandolin Orange released their acclaimed Yep Roc debut This Side of Jordan last year and now they've released a new music video from the album for the song "Morphine Girl." Check out the beautifully shot video below.

Triangle rising stars Mandolin Orange have been working hard touring and promoting their new album This Side of Jordan since it was released in August and the band garnered the favor of CMT and they recorded a performance for the site.

Mandolin Orange releasing 'This Side of Jordan' in August


Triangle folk duo Mandolin Orange signed with local label Yep Roc Records earlier this year and are gearing up for the release of a new album titled This Side of Jordan.

The album will be released on August 20 and you can check out the album's opening track, "House of Stone," below along with the full 11-song track list.

Mandolin Orange to play MS benefit in Durham


Local folk/Americana rising stars Mandolin Orange will play a big local show this Friday to raise money for the Eastern NC Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Mandolin Orange, Magnolia Collective, The Dogwoods, and Django Haskins (of The Old Ceremony) will play Motorco Music Hall in Durham on Friday, November 30. Advance tickets are available HERE for $10.

Tift Merritt, Megafaun & Mandolin Orange to play free show in Carrboro


Three of the Triangle's favorite artists, Tift Merritt, Megafaun, and Mandolin Orange are teaming up for a free show this fall that will certainly be the talk of the town.

Mandolin Orange plays to wall-to-wall crowd at Motorco

Wednesday brought more rain to the Triangle, which led to another Music in the Gardens show being relocated to Motorco Music Hall. Fans flocked to venue to welcome local folk band Mandolin Orange back from a midwestern tour in droves, packing the venue slightly beyond comfort.

Duke Performances unveils Music in the Gardens lineup




Duke Performances has announced the lineup for what is arguably the best summer concert series around and, as usual, it's end-to-end with stellar local acts.

The Music in the Gardens series kicks off Wednesday, June 6, with The Beast and Big Band and includes The Old Ceremony, Dex Romweber & The New Romans, Bombadil, Mandolin Orange, Midtown Dickens and Megafaun.
