Eleanor Friedberger announces fall headline dates

Singer-songwriter Eleanor Friedberger will be out on the road opening for The Decemberists' frontman Colin Meloy on his upcoming solo tour which includes a stop in Durham, but before she hits the road with him, she'll play a few headline dates in October which also include a Triangle stop.

The Decemberists' frontman Colin Meloy is taking a break from his successful children's book series The Wildwood Chronicles to release new EP of cover songs and head out on his first solo tour in five years this fall.

Singer-songwriter Eleanor Friedberger is hitting the road again this spring in support of her solo debut Last Summer, released last year via Merge Records.

She'll come back to the Triangle to play the Casbah in Durham on Friday, April 20. Tickets are on sale now via Etix for $12.
